Light painting

I recently bought a Yungnuo 360 light wand: https://www.amazon.co.uk/YONGNUO-Handheld-Colorful-Professional-EACHSHOT/dp/B01DBJYNKO for just under £70 - an absolute snip compared to the Westcott Ice light, or Pixel Stick, both of which go for several 100s more than that ! The Yongnuo has a bank of RGB LEDs as well as 3200 and 5500 light settings, plus a tungsten reflector. You can get any colour of the rainbow by dialling in different amounts in each RGB, but the best feature about it is the app which changes the colour of the light remotely, by moving your finger around a colour wheel on the phone screen. I had my first outing with it in Wells the other evening, trying out some light painting with a friend from Mid Somerset CC. It was a bit cold in town and we retired to The Crown on the market square for a hot chocolate after an hour or so, but it was great fun experimenting. One thing I did before we went out was make a cardboard mask for it with 5 cut out holes and I plan to make some more masks now, so I can get different effects. I want to try out a lot more ideas, in different locations too.
Bottom line - I highly recommend this as a creative photography tool, you really can't beat it for the price.
