The Great Flickr Delete

Starting today, Flickr will be removing images in excess of the 1,000 limit on free accounts. However, there is nothing to stop people opening multiple accounts if they require additional capacity. SmugMug needs to reconsider the value proposition for Pro accounts as paying for the service does not seem to confer many advantages. The link below is to an article with more info on DPReview.

Flickr has delayed commencement of the process to delete images until 12 March, citing user feedback and "complications" with photo downloads as the reasons. The link below to DPReview has more details.
