Keeping In Touch With Other Members

One of the questions which came up during Tuesday's VC was how to keep in touch with other members during the Covid-19 lockdown. It is possible to set up Zoom meetings, but that does require other people's e-mail addresses to arrange. Usually when I send out club communications such as the newsletter and invitations to Zoom VCs, I blind copy everyone. That keeps e-mail addresses private and ensures the club does not contravene data protection regulations. If members give permission, I can make their e-mail adresses visible to others when sending out these invitations.

There is another way to communicate with other members who are registered on the forum. Clicking on someone's profile provides two ways of contacting them, either by PM or e-mail. You will need to be logged in to use this facility.
