Nik Software Reduced Price

As those who have been following my PAD project will know, a lot of my images are in monochrome for which I use the excellent Silver Efex Pro 2 plugin. Until now, it has been very expensive but Google, which recently acquired Nik software which developed the application, has just announced a price cut. The entire Nik Software suite, which includes SEP2, can now be purchased as a download for $149 including UK VAT. That represents not just a significant saving for the entire suite, but also on the original standalone price for SEP2.

Better still, enter the discount code "GBLACK" (without quotes) and get a further 15% reduction so that total works out at around £85 in proper money.

Some places where I have seen this reported are stating that it is a "March discount", but it is not clear whether or not the reduction is permanent.

I queried with Google about having paid full price for just one part of the suite of software which is now being offered at a lower price and they have given me a free upgrade to the rest of the applications. Good customer service on Google's part, I say.
