Free Scott Kelby Training Videos

As a taster for his online training courses, Scott Kelby has started offering a free lesson each week. The one which is currently showing about doing travel photography in Paris is very comprehensive and goes through processing steps in Lightroom and Photoshop. The sections I have looked at shows importing images from the memory card onto the computer, selecting those to delete and those to work further on, then the various steps to produce the final image. It is very useful for those looking to find out more about how these applications work.

The main drawback is that the video is on a continuous loop, so you have no control on where you start viewing. Unless you are very, very lucky, it will be somewhere in the middle rather than the beginning. The Paris video is also quite long, so you will need to set enough time aside to view it. If you break off, it might be some time before the video returns to the point where you left. Unfortunately, that's the trade off between viewing the video without paying rather than renting it or subscribing to Kelby's site.
