Re: Croydon Culture Click Photographic Competition
Thanks, Peter. I'll take a look next time I am in Croydon. Last time I visited BWH, I did not know that the pictures were hung in the Community Space, otherwise I would have asked after that. I now have the calendar, so I can see whether the fifth image is from the competition. The intention was only that the top five would be displayed, never all 14 finalists.

I went to BWH this morning and found the pictures. They are in a corridor on the left of the Community Space and can be seen from the street, although the glass fronting the building has frosted stripes which makes viewing difficult. The Community Space is a third entrance to BWH and to the right of Access Croydon as you face the building when standing in Mint Walk. At present, the area is closed to the public, although one of the security staff did offer to let me in if I wanted to take a closer look.
It is my understanding that the Council will be opening up the Community Space for public use at some point. I did find some information at Taberner House earlier this year, which I reported in this post.

My shot is now on display at the Click Clock Gallery for a couple of weeks and has one of the bays along the wall to itself. Until Croydon Council opens up the Community Space area, more people are likely to see it there than passers by in Mint Walk pressing their noses against the glass side of Bernard Weatherill House.
The description of the shot next to the picture is in the attached PDF file.

Thanks.
An exhibition in a central Croydon location of all 14 finalists was supposed to be part of the deal, but that seems to have gone by the board. Displaying my picture in the gallery has come about through a private arrangement between John Reeve and myself.
