New versions of well known tools have been released recently and Thom Hogan has done a round-up.

The next version of Lightroom and ACR should be released during 2015 and I wonder what Adobe has in store for us. Its Raw processing engine, while still good, has fallen behind some of its competitors in regard to what can be extracted from a Raw file, so maybe that will be one aspect where there is scope for enhancement? The current version of Lightroom 5 was not very convincing as an update compared to its predecessors and I wonder if the main consideration was the need to have a new version to support the launch of Adobe's Creative Cloud subscription service?
