Seen a Cheap Nikon?

Thom Hogan reports that Nikon has a longstanding habit of dumping excess product into the grey market without, where it can get away with it, any warranty. I am not sure what the position is in Europe, but I would hope that EU regulations would prevent a manufacturer refusing to sell spare parts to thitd party repairers, which is Nikon policy in the US.
