A Funny Thing Happened on the Forum

Postby Mike Farley » Thu 09 Apr 2015, 08:18

Well, not just one thing and funny as in unexpected. I am referring to a couple of recent threads which have gone in directions completely at odds with the title and original post.

Conundrum, which started off about which equipment to use when options are restricted, has become a thread about camera bags. Actually, it is all the better for that.

Another topic, on the face of it about web hosting sites, has been even more random, taking in how to prepare for an exhibition, the relationship between megapixels and print size, davidc's equipment reviews and cameras for low light photography. You just gotta love that meandering thread. 8-)

Yep... I shared some Barcelona pics to illustrate how my 5Dm3 performs in low light... and all the conversation has been about sharpening techniques in LR and PS...

It's easy for natural conversation to do that though, maybe unsurprising the same happens online.
BTW in case people are interested, I found this image of a walrus and a bucket

Gotta love that thread as well, but it is going to be very difficult to find the information down the line. When I get a moment, I'll add something to the Techniques and Tutorials section where it will be more readily retrieved.
