For me it seems that Mike Johnston, whose main source of income comes from the blog, was taking an easy day by writing a few brief words and getting his readership to do the rest. He was none too impressed when I suggested as much a while back in the comments to a similar post. Apparently it takes a lot of time and effort to moderate the feedback; must have taken a lot out of his day .....
I can genuinely say, though, that the A6300 was not a let down for me. For some reason Sony cameras are not on my radar and I have never paid much attention to them. I think it goes back to the days of the Sony Nex-7 which everyone said was a good camera and eagerly picked one up at a Focus-On-Imaging show, only to put it down again a few minutes later less than impressed. This time around I have been saved from disillusionment by indifference.
