The free article (which doesnt have its text blurred out, on page 50) relates to a project by Ted Leeming and Morag Paterson of taking images over a 5 year period solely from their garden patio. The fact they built their eco-home on a hill in Scotland obviously helps. But its an interesting concept to limit yourself to a geographical area and see what you can produce.

Thanks, Paul. I have downloaded both PDFs and am now in the process of reading them. There are some excellent images to be seen. One thing I did not care for was the one-off opportunity when I first logged in after registering to receive a discount on the subscription, before I had had an opportunity to explore the site fully. Good job I registered with a pseudonym and an e-mail account I keep for sites which require registration, but I am not sure about.

Leeming + Paterson also had another advantage besides living in a scenic part of the country, namely a loan of the monster Sigma 300-800 telephoto zoom to being the landscape to them. If ever there was a lens designed to stay at home and be used only there, as opposed to lugging it around, this surely is it.
