Results of the first round of the rescheduled* SLF Mono Print competition held at Croydon on 5 November 2014, judge Martin Faiers.

1. Aperture Woolwich PS - 68.5 points
2. Beckenham PS - 67.5
3. South London PS - 64.5
4. Croydon CC - 63.5
5. Mitcham CC - 59.5
6. Orpington PS - 59.5

There were some good images on display and Aperture Woolwich prevailed by a point over Beckenham, with both clubs now going forward to the semi-finals of the competition. The remaining clubs, which includes Croydon, will participate in the Plate contest which will be held in the New Year.

Individual scores for the images in our panel were:

• Platform (Mike Farley) - 9.5 (Certificate)
• Big Sky, Small Tree (Bill Gray) - 9
• Spinnaker (Wally Conquy) - 7
• Twins (Wally Conquy) - 8
• Low Tide at South Bank (Ros Conti) - 8
• St Margaret Pattens (Roy King) - 6.5

Six certificates were awarded for the images judged to be the best of the evening, with Croydon receiving one of these.
