Perhaps the most surprising thing about his allegedly $6.5m "Phantom" image is that it is not even a unique shot. The location looks like one of the slot canyons in Arizona and a colour version appears on the cover of one of Alain Briot's books. I bet Briot is kicking himself now. By putting his photo on a book, he has virtually given it away. ;)

I do not understand how Peter Lik manages to be so successful, but on the other hand who would not mind selling their work at the prices he appears to command? Heck, I would sell for 10% of what he gets. :mrgreen:
