Maybe, but Sigma is the only Japanese company I know of which is involved in the manufacture of photographic goods and allows such access.

What was not shown was anything to do with the production of cameras, which makes me wonder if Sigma makes them itself. Sigma, of course, is unique in using the Foveon sensor and sales volumes have never been high.
