photoshopCC2015 superimposing an image on another

Can anybody help me open 2 images on the screen at once. I have just started on CC2015 and cannot resolve my problem.
I wish to put a cloud on an image. The old photoshop I had was dead easy.
I do have a Mac but I am sure that won't change the process that much.

You should be able to open both concurrently in PS, it hasn't changed, and should show both as different tabs. Either file > open, or select both and drag them into a running Photoshop

You can then select the whole image you want to copy over using command-a, flip to your new image, add a new layer and paste it in.

I find it helps to have both images visible (Window>Arrange>2-up Horizontal/Vertical*) and hold down the shift key while dragging and dropping using the Move tool if you want the images aligned.

* Doesn't matter which as you are going to close one of the windows after the drag and drop, but image orientation might make one preferable.

Hi Mike and David, just been reading your answers and find neither of them work in my situation. The new Photoshop happens to be different, perhaps its because i have a Mac.
Both images have to be in photoshop, one image showing , because you can't see both at the same time, the part which is going to be superimposed will be selected
then go to copy> paste. Bill gave me the answer a few minutes after I asked.
I used to be able to drag and drop on my old system, its so useful that way.
But everything changes I suppose. Grateful to you both for taking time to answer.

I would be extremely surprised if this functionality is not available in the Mac version of Photoshop, although possibly the menu settings I gave are not the same. Copy and paste is another way to do it, but drag and drop works equally well once you have found out how to get both images displayed simultaneously.
