A thought provoking read from Thom Hogan. Canon is often castigated for its technical deficiencies, sensors especially, but maybe what keeps it as the number one camera manufacturer is consistency. Yes, the company has made occasional mistakes, but generally its products work well and there is a logical ecosystem which customers can choose to enter at any point.
