There's what looks suspiciously like a fire sale at Amazon US and for the next few hours the Lytro Illum, for which $1,599 was originally demanded, is available for a quarter of that at $399.99. The Amazon UK price is currently £547.90, less than half what it was earlier this year. Even that is quite steep for what is essentially a novelty rather than a serious photographic tool.
