It seems that the problems with the D750 manufacture were more widespread than initially thought. It must be hurting Nikon's profits, both in new sales and repair costs.

Thom Hogan is suggesting that this might be a new problem with the shutter as Nikon has changed the wording on the service advisory. Nikon might be repairing some cameras twice.
