Surprise, surprise, Nikon has now withdrawn the poster, promising to do better in future and politely thanking the original poster for bringing it to their attention. There's an update on the blog to which I have already posted the link and the story is also at PetaPixel, doubtless elsewhere as well. Stories like this being just too good to pass up.
