Lightroom update now available

Adobe has released a new update. Fixes numerous bug fixes and some issues with panorama, as well as providing camera-lens support for a lot of the new manufacturers product releases. Sounds a worthwhile update, a shame about the bugs but Adobe seems to be making some unusually honest comment on fixing them.

Bug fixes are normal for these updates and Adobe has long stated what it has corrected. It's the errors they don't know about which are the problem and my advice with any Adobe release is to wait at least a month before installing it unless you really need the new or corrected features. They don't exactly have the best track record and dotdotone versions are quite frequent where they have to issue a patch shortly after the main release. Let others check it out and find the problems, I say.

I am happily running LR15.1.1 (note, a dotdotone version) on my Windows machine and the ill fated LR15.2 on my MacBook.
