It appears that Yahoo's problems with hacking are even worse than originally thought. How a large scale hack can go unnoticed for several years is beyond my comprehension, especially when it has happened more than once.
Like many photographers, I created an account to use Flickr and had to give some personal information to do so. The frustrating thing is that beyond updating my password and disabling my security questions, there is very little I can do. The moral is not to use true information when creating these accounts where it has no effect on the outcome and the company concerned is simply gathering data for its own purposes.
