For those looking for an alternative to Lightroom, now only available via paying a monthly subscription, Captture One is probably the most widely used alternative. There are perpetual licence and subscription options, both of which are more expensive than their Adobe counterparts. Outright purchase is €279+VAT, which comes to around £310 at current exchange rates. New versions of Capture One seem to be annual events and upgrades start at €119+VAT, which is around £135.
