Sandisk SDHC Memory Cards

Postby Mike Farley » Thu 04 Apr 2013, 11:59

This is the offer from Currys which Ron Barker mentioned last night for two 16 GB Sandisk Ultra SDHC memory cards at £19. As Ron says, the price compares favourably to what 7dayshop is currently asking for similar products.

I have just been to Currys on the Purley Way and was told that the store is out of stock on this offer. However, according to the Currys website "Reserve and Collect" function stock is still available there and at the adjacent PC World. Go figure.

I must admit that I have never felt the same about Currys and and Dixon Store Group shops after I was refused admission to the Currys store on Purley Way one evening. I was there at around 7:45 and there was a burly guard on the door refusing to let anyone in because they wanted to close at 8. I knew what I wanted and would have been out again just as quickly as it would have taken someone to serve me. He simply told me to come back the following day and would not let me talk to the manager. I was so incensed, I went against my normal policy of simply boycotting anywhere which is prepared to treat its customers so poorly and wrote an e-mail to them to voice my complaint using the contact details on the DSG website. Three days later it came back undelivered. Says it all, really.
