Thought I would mention that David Suchet, recently knighted for services to acting, is also a keen photographer. Bill told me that he bumped into him a few years ago while both were photographing a royal event and had a chat. This article has more information but, despite what you will read there, if I recall correctly, Bill said that Suchet was using a Nikon at the time. Actually, that is not sacrilegious since until Leica introduced the SL, they did not really have anything which would accommodate the longer lens needed for shooting from the crowd.
