Tonight's Imagine on BBC 1 featured Vivian Maier, a Chicago based nanny who took thousands of photos during her lifetime but was only discovered by chance after her death. I saw some of her pictures at the Chris Beetles gallery recently and although I was not overly impressed with them, prices started at £1,500 + VAT.

I did not find out about this programme until just before it was due to air, but it is available on iPlayer if anyone wants to watch it.
