Putting a call out there for any owners or contacts you may know of interesting cars i.e. sports cars, classics, hot rods
for some light painting at night of their vehicles. Im looking to take images at night/dusk and try out this technique -
http://longexposuretips.blogspot.co.uk/ ... -cars.html I think we could get some good shots using this technique and scouting a good background.
If it comes through Im happy for any other members to join in the fun

I'll be up for it and can volunteer mine if we can't find any others - I also have a location in mind for it too.
It looks like this - not exactly a sportscar or hotrod but it looks sportyish

My car is a fairly conservatively styled saloon and there are thousands of them on the roads, so probably not what you had in mind. I know of a couple of members who have something a bit more exotic and I'll PM you with the details so that you can approach them directly.

Just remembered about this thread.
David - now the nights are longer do you want to try light painting your car? It looks like it has some nice curves that we could highlight. Havent really found a nice location. Some of the larger car parks on the Purley Way may suffice. Where did you have in mind?

There's a patch of empty ground on Purley Way between John Lewis Home and PC World
So looks like we had something similar in mind! Failing that, Sainsbury's is 24/7 so might be another good option?
It'll be a few days before I'll have time for it sadly but I'll ping you when I know more.
