Please see message below received from Tony Charters of the Surrey Photographic Society (SPA) regarding the death of Tony Troman ARPS APAGB, who some of you may have known..........

Sad news reached me today regarding Tony Troman, who died peacefully on February 9th.

Tony was, for many years, the Secretary of the SPA and in 2012 was awarded an Honorary Live Vice-Presidency of the Association.
A member of Epsom Camera Club, Tony was their President and enjoyed a long and very active photographic life. He was an active member of the RPS AV-Group and in 1998, was awarded the RPS Dobson-Henry Medal for outstanding contributions in the Audio Visual medium. In 2001 he was awarded the PAGB Award for Meritorious Service and, in 2006, the RPS Fenton Medal along with an Honorary Life Membership of the Society.

When the funeral details are known, I shall post another message.
