Moving on

My wife and I are moving away from the area and will be emigrating to Singapore. As yet we don't know how long for but it will certainly be a few years so unfortunately I will not be attending any further club meetings. I've also handed over my treasurer & council duties as an interim measure to Roy - many thanks for the assistance! I would still like to remain attached to the club, albeit as a corresponding member rather than a full member, if that is OK.
I'd like to say thank you to everyone for my time at the club so far, it was extremely useful and entertaining. I'll certainly pop in from time to time and see how you are all doing, as well as posting the occasional image from Singapore.

We shall miss you David, but wish you all the best in the next chapter of your life. Look forward to seeing some images from Singapore on the Forum when you get round to taking some pictures.

I join in with everyone else here in wishing your wife and yourself every success in Singapore - it's certainly an exciting opportunity for you both. In what has turned out to be be an all too brief period, you have made an invaluable contribution, both through your photography and helping out with the running of the club, for which I thank you on behalf of everyone. I have always enjoyed our encounters, both here on this forum and in person. I look forward to hearing about your experiences and seeing what new photographic opportunities you will find. I am pleased that you will be continuing your membership and you are, of course, very welcome to drop in at any time to see us.
