Alfred Eisenstaedt's Dream
Posted: Thu 17 Apr 2014, 19:44
I have just come across this quote from Alfred Eisenstaedt, one of the greats of photography.
"I dream that someday the step between my mind and my finger will no longer be needed. And that simply by blinking my eyes, I shall make pictures. Then, I think, I shall really have become a photographer."
It has just been reported that Google has recently filed a patent for one or more cameras to be incorporated into a contact lens. Is Eisenstaedt's dream actually about to become a reality?
