Eurovision Song Contest

At last, something actually to enjoy about the Eurovision Song Contest, rather than just howl and laugh in derision at he riduculousness of it all. Prior to their performance, each act made some sort of construct for their flag and then photographed it, with the resulting image being briefly flashed on screen. The most imaginative one I saw was Switzerland's, where the contestant (or more likely a lackey), lined up a load of tiles vertically on their ends so that when the first was pushed over it fell against its neighbour to set up a chain reaction to reveal the flag as the tiles tumbled. Spain's entrant appeared to use a Leica to shoot her photo and France's image looked suspiciously Photoshopped. Fun though that part was, it was not enough to make me want to endure the entire show and I only saw . Perhaps someone will put a video on YouTube?
