I don't know if this will appeal to many, but in case it does there is a symposia organised by the Imaging Science Group of the Royal Photographic Society at The University of Westminster (Regent Street site) on Saturday, 10th December on facets of imaging. Definitely different to other photographic workshops it covers from the use of pinhole camera/mobile phone to astrophotography and 3D scanning. The cost is £74 full or £42 for concessions (Students, Retired, non-employed). Note, no discount for RPS members. Price includes buffet lunch plus morning and afternoon coffee & biscuits.
See http://www.rps-isg.org/?page_id=2080 for details and application form.
Cheers,
Graham
