Landscape Photographer of the Year Exhibition

Postby Mike Farley » Mon 05 Nov 2012, 18:18

The exhibition will be at the National Theatre between 12 November - 12 January and has free entry. Is anyone interested in an outing to take in the exhibition and go on a photoshoot along the South Bank? With so much to do and see in the area, plans can be flexible to take account of any weather conditions.

I propose that we visit the LPOTY and Henri Cartier-Bresson exhibitions on Saturday, 1 December 2012. Meet at East Croydon station at 9:30 and travel to Waterloo.

Is this date OK with everyone?

If anyone is interested in this event, can you respond to this post. As the proposed date does not fit in with at least one person's schedule, suggestions for alternatives would allow us to establish whether there is a more convenient time which suits everyone.

The original suggested date of 1/12 did not prove convenient for everyone, so the outing has been postponed by a week. It will now take place on Saturday, 8 December, meeting at 09:30 at East Croydon station.

I was at South Bank on Sunday and the Christmas Market is now on, so there is a lot happening in the area.

Can those who are coming on the outing indicate by contributing to this thread so that I know the numbers.

I know of three people who are going on this outing. Two of us are getting on the same train at a station before East Croydon and the third is meeting us up in London. If you are intending to come, but have not responded to this thread, could you do so now. Otherwise, I see little point in getting off the train at East Croydon if there is no one to meet up with.
