Thanks for posting, Ashley. It's a pity that the organisers have not provided more notice, neither I have not seen the details elsewhere. I wonder what the prizes are?
Looking at the terms and conditions, there are a few things to be aware of.
- You must have permission of anyone depicted to have taken the photograph.
- The entry must be the entrant's own work and must not have been published elsewhere or have previously won a prize.
- Copyright remains with the entrant, but the Council, Croydon Commitment and others involved in organising the competition can use any images submitted, not just the prize winners. In the main, such use is for activities associated with the competition, but there does appear to be an option for unrelated website usage.
