Mike PM'ed Lynn's details some weeks ago. I contacted her and have arranged to attend on Saturday. I had presumed that others had done similar. I will PM her details to you Nina and Tom.

Both myself and Nina attended this event on Saturday evening. We got there before the show started and found 3 members of Selsdon CC there also.

We had quite a lot of freedom throughout the evening. No flash and no blocking peoples views but we could sit on any empty seats (of which there were many at the sides and from around 15 rows back).

Lighting as with any theatre show was an issue. Certain songs had various coloured lighting changes which was challenging. For these I shot in aperture priority with -1.3 exposure compensation and ISO 1600. Most of the slower songs were light by a sole spotlight and so after metering of their bodies I dialled that into to manual mode. There was also banks of lighting from both sides of the stage, this meant if you were at the front you had to either include them as a feature or wait till they flashed off. Focusing was an issue throughout, probably the standard one-shot focus mode gave the most consistent results.

At the end of the show we gathered by the stairs near the bar so fans in the audience could get shots with the Rat Pack whilst we "papped" them.

I enjoyed the challenging conditions and came away with a few keepers. Will post examples in next few days when I get a chance.
