I think this is the second, the first possibly being an RPS one to celebrate some form of anniversary, so I'm pretty sure this will be on again barring any disasters!
What could possibly go wrong with a bunch of people with expensive camera and a bunch of drunk people on a Friday night?
24hr London Photowalk
Re: 24hr London Photowalk
Actually, they are asking for an email address so rather than assume you want to come and give them your details I will let you do it yourself -

I am registering now and I'm aiming to stay for the course for the full 24 hours

REMINDER -
Photo 24 starts 5.30pm NEXT FRIDAY 21st June and you need to register yourself - it needs personal details such as emails.

Go here.
You don't need to do the full 24 hours and if anyone wants to do some of it let me know, we can exchange mobile numbers so we can meet up if you want to join partway through for instance.

OK, I'll check out the details and will see what I am doing. I'll update here when I know my plans.
It might be fun to come along on the Saturday morning to see what the survivors look like!

Re: 24hr London Photowalk
After years of playing on the computer til the wee hours, pottering around at 6am won't bother me. Me at 6pm will be another matter though
Re: 24hr London Photowalk
Last reminder - you will need to signup for this event yourself at the link above.
If you do, please post on here so we can arrange to meet and explore London as a group.

Re: 24hr London Photowalk
Im really am tempted but...
Doing an early shift at work this week meaning Im at my desk at 6.30am so not sure on energy for an all nighter. Plus the website doesnt really say how many people are attending and what the contests are. Would rather there was a loose schedule to what is happening over the 24hrs to focus peoples ideas. If its truly open-ended I imagine people milling around without knowing what to do.
David - have you got more info on this? The facebook and Samsung page are quite vague.

Re: 24hr London Photowalk
I've tweeted them to get an idea of how many people are coming.
I've printed out the info packs and they have a PDF with their rough timetable and suggested places to go, e.g. 5.30pm start/intro/meet up and group up, sunset at 9.21pm (with places that might suit a sunset shot), after sunset (including advice "not to photo the sex workers in Soho - just don't", which amused me), 4am then 8am onwards.

Re: 24hr London Photowalk
Well now Im getting more interested it seems the link to register shows as "Sale ended" and therefore doesnt allow me to register. As its a free event and (I presume) there is unlimited capacity the registration would happen right up to the event. Ive posted on their facebook page asking if I can turn up on the night, so we shall see. I will bring my camera gear into work anyways and we shall see if I get a reply.
Re: 24hr London Photowalk
I'd just show up to be honest, all this registration will be for Samsung to know how many toys to bring so they can show them off
