Re: Eastbourne Air Show (Airbourne)
Here's one of the Red Arrows. I had hoped that being a bit further back from the action would allow me to get some more general views of the display using the short end of my zoom, but that proved too long for much of the time and this is the only manoeuvre where it really worked.

Hi folks,
It was an excellent day, apart from the traffic on leaving. Here's some of my Vulcan shots.
- Couldn't get a better image to load, whatever size !
Thanks Rose for all the advice,
Graham

I should add there was no shortage of long lenses in the audience:

It looks as though there was serious kit on display all around.

Rose, you were right about Beachy Head being the best place to view the Vulcan and judging by the shots here from Graham and yourself the plane was in better positions than I saw and you were able to get closer. From where I was, the shots where the plane is fullest in the frame it was in level flight and I was side on, which does not make the best of its wonderful shape, although I do have some images taken from below when the bomb bay doors were open.Rose wrote:Graham, yours turned out really well too !
Thanks, Rose. I'll probably leave the border off when I produce the print. That one is a sure fire cert to make it to the club at some stage.Rose wrote:Lovely pic of the Reds Mike
