There is an overview of The Photography Show in the latest issue of PAGB News. David Hurn's "Swaps" exhibition will definitely be worth a look. Permajet's Oyster paper is my usual goto for lustre prints, so I will be interested to see what their new Photo Lustre 310 is like.

An enjoyable day out yesterday. Thanks to all those who came along.

As I expected, the highlight of the show was David Hurn's Swaps exhibition, with a lot of good work by different photographers on display. Much of it did not conform to the accepted standards of camera club photography. And was all the better for it.

There is a larger exhibition which runs for another month currently on display at the National Museum Cardiff.

The new Permajet paper was a disappointment. It has a stippled effect which I do not find particularly attractive, but which is found with some lustre papers.

A good day out despite trashing a lens on the way up. That said the new one I brought there is far superior.

Thanks to Mike for organising the trains etc. and I look forward to next year, when I'll probably combine the Comic Show with the Photography Show.
