Each year a group of us go to the free trade show held in conjunction wth The Societies' Convention. It is always a good day, with lots to see and do, and special deals available if anyone has any money to spare after Xmas. On the basis that it will be busier over the weekend, the preference is usually for the Friday (22 January), but if anyone expressing an interest wants to go on a different day state so here and we will opt for whichever is the most popular date.
Full details are at the link, where you will need to register before 15 January 2016 to obtain free admission.

As registration is free until 15 January and is not a binding commitment, you do not have to make a final decision until closer to the day.

I've registered so am "committed"; Friday would suit me.

Hi Mike,
I have registered for this but although I would prefer to visit on the Friday, as I'm still working and need to preserve my annual leave days for other things, I shall probably go on the Saturday or Sunday.

Hi Dave
It's a good day out, but I agree not worthing giving up a day's leave for. The bargains will still be there over the weekend, so there will be plenty of opportunities to splash out on new kit. I know how fond you are of buying lots of expensive gear and you won't have me there encouraging you.
So far, those going on the Friday are:
- Rose
- Graham C
- Davidb
- Myself
Anyone else?

Hi Mike,
I have my admissions pass, not certain that I'm free to join the group that Friday yet.
Cheers,
Graham

Registration for free tickets close in a week's time on 15 January, so now is the time to apply if you have not already done so.
Rose will no doubt want to make her own way to the show and we can meet up there, but the rest of us who are going on 22 January could assemble at East Croydon just before 9:30 and travel on the first train to Victoria when Freedom Passes become valid. Does that suit everyone?
