Biggin Hill - Heritage Hanger

Postby toms » Fri 19 May 2017, 16:01

Is anyone interested in an afternoon photographing Spitfires and other related memorabilia?

Having visited them this week the Heritage Hanger is happy to put on an exclusive tour for us with photography in mind.

No date has been agreed yet but we're looking at probably August at the earliest with a suggested day/time of any Friday from 2pm. Choosing an afternoon visit apparently allows them to draw out the tour to aid photography. The tour would be around 2 hours (hopefully a bit more) and the cost is £39 per head.

Yes expensive but a unique opportunity to get some up-close images. For us to have an exclusive group tour I need the maximum of 10 people. We can have fewer but will then possibly have other members of the public with us to make up any shortfall.

If members are interested then please add your names to this post and subject to numbers I will firm up some dates.

The Heritage Hanger often does night-time photographic shoots with propellers turning but these are more expensive and at this time they don't have any plans to run such an evening. That said, if members might be interested in that much later in the year (November/December) please post your interest and I'll so some negotiation.

Regards,

Tom Sherrin
