What do you think of this? It was an accident (pressed the wrong buttons in the camera's menu) - it's a combo of the pictures either side of this result.

Re: SHADOW
A happy accident indeed! Almost ghost-like in appearance which suits WW2 aircraft. I think the idea itself has potential to be used on a single aircraft with 3 or 4 multiple shots. Of course this could be done in post-processing with layering each aircraft. Maybe you have single images from the day itself that could be layered?

Re: SHADOW
Sorry, David, but I just cannot get on with the double vision effect in this shot. I think that there is potential for something similar along the lines already suggested by Paul, but this particular image is not doing anything for me.
Re: SHADOW
I do have a problem with it. There was a long (comparatively) time between exposures so it's not an exact shadow. Perhaps two copies of the same image but cropped differently and then overlaid might work better.
Not being a photoshop expert it may take some time to figure it out!

Re: SHADOW
I agree with davidc that the idea has potential. I would play around in PS to explore it some more.

I know we're both gingers but it was Paul who said it had potential
