Hi Folks,
Thought I would share some of the better images from my first experience of photographing Hockey, in the rain.
See what you think. Some may be better in back and white, the Astro-felt green a bit strong in some images.

A few images from last nights Hockey Practice
Re: A few images from last nights Hockey Practice
Someone has asked me what camera set-up was used. Shot on a Nikon D810 with a 70-200mm f/2.8 lens using active stabilisation. All the images in the first posting were shot with what seemed to work best for the conditions f/2.8, 1/640, iso 3200, exposure compensation -0.67 (2/3 stop). Did start with a slower shutter speed of 1/400, but while that was fine for people, not quite fast enough to reliably capture ball movement. The images below were all taken at 1/400 sec.
Many thanks to Sarah for the opportunity.

Hi Graham,
Good to see your images taken at night under floodlights.
They are better than I expected.
Any software used to enhance the images?
