Spring is in the Air
Spring is in the Air
Seen at Miller's Pond this morning. Apparently Egyptian Geese are early breeders.

Very surprising to see goslings at this time of year, especially when they look as though they might be a couple of weeks old already.
Re: Spring is in the Air
Pleased to see all Five Goslings this morning at Miller's Pond.
Re: Spring is in the Air
Hi Tina,
Are there any ducklings and goslings currently at Miller's Pond?
Anything else of interest?
What is the parking like for Miller's pond? Best place to park?
Thanks,
Iggy

Hi Iggy
Graham went along yesterday morning early. The five Egyptian goslings are nearly as big as their mother.
There were a couple of moorhen chicks but no other little ones that Graham saw.
Parking is easy in Shirley Way or the road opposite the entrance. There are two other entrances, one near Bennetts Way and one in Colin Close off Bridle Road.
It's a small pond but there is usually something going on.
All the best
Tina
