PAD 87 - Jasmine Buds

Day 87 and there is a newly introduced Jasmine plant which, although small, is filling the house with its scent.

This is two exposures combined in Photoshop, with the focus on separate points to increase depth of field.

Interesting that you chose to stack the focus - did you consider using a non-macro lens? The only reason I ask is it isn't a closeup shot of the jasmine, you're seeing quite a lot of the plant, so could have got similar framing where f16 would mean you didn't need to stack.

In fact this is quite a small section of the plant, probably around an inch or so from top to bottom, so a macro was most definitely required.
