PAD 133 - Dining Hall

Day 133 and a walk around Balliol College, Oxford, where the dining hall was being readied for a meal.

From a compostional viewpoint, the portraits in the background turned out to be very important despite being out of focus and on the edge of the picture. This is the full image, but in an earlier version I cropped the heads and completely lost the sense of atmosphere.
