Day 164 and a visit to Stourhead, where I have not been previously. Visually it is stunning and around every corner there is a new view to enjoy. Therein lies the problem as the location is well known and as a man made landscape all of the views will have been photographed before. I have my own share of these shots, but wanted to present something a bit different here so went for an infrared image which does not feature any of the more iconic features for which Stourhead is famous.

Stourhead is beautiful, I haven't been there for a long time but remember it as one of the best examples of English landscape gardens.
Your infrared camera was a good choice and I enjoyed the picture, it is a shame that you didn't get more blue sky for more drama. It seems to me you have a good excused to go there again.

Thanks, Nina. The sun did come out later in the afternoon, but by that time I was around the other side of the lake. A return visit is certainly on the cards and autumn would be a good time, especially if I can get some good light.
