Politicians and easter eggs...

Had a mad afternoon yesterday photographing the Deputy PM's Easter Reception at Lancaster House. As official events go this was rather different, as apart from the usual mix of MPs, Peers, dignitaries and other guests, there were 40 children (some very small) making easter baskets and then running round the garden with the DPM on an easter egg hunt ! I was taking official photographs for the DPM's office - there were also two professional photographers covering the event for other people. After two hours I was exhausted ! I then spent the evening at home processing the first batch of photos as the DPM's office wanted to publish and tweet them this morning. I took some nice shots of some of the smallest children but am not sure these will be made public.

We missed you at our Brick Lane gathering, but no doubt we'll do something similar again.
