POTD 2 January 2016 - Berries

Indifferent weather of late has not encouraged me to do much photography, so I took this one indoors. It is not an especially good image, but the subject provided an opportunity to try out the "macro" setting, in reality a 1:2.8 ratio so more like a close up function, of a "new" mid-range zoom. The lens was made just under 20 years ago and was sold to me as ex-demo, having seen very little use and looking like new. The blank registration documents were in the box, so after all these years I seem to be the first owner and this is one of the first shots made with it.
