Leaping Sheep

I was looking through my back catalogue for images to show the area around Llanfihangel Crucorney where the club is having an outing in September, when I came across this shot I had forgotten taking. It was snapped on a walk at Hay Bluff, which is at the northern end of the very scenic Gospel Pass. I had just crossed a small stream when I heard a noise behind me and turned around to see this flock of sheep. Usually sheep are wary of people, but these obviously had somewhere they wanted to go as they advanced towards me and leapt over the stream. I suspect that the reason they jumped was because I was very close to the action, standing by their usual crossing point which forced them to change their route.
