POTD 5 May 2015 - Blue Parasol

This is the first of the pictures from my recent holiday to Malta, taken in the very atmospheric town of Mdina which is full of tall buildings with narrow, cobbled streets. I had already seen the potential of this location, so it was a question of waiting for a suitable subject to appear in the gap. I heard this woman a long time before she appeared as she was talking loudly on a mobile phone and to my great delight she was carrying a blue parasol. There was someone just ahead of her, fortunately behind and not overlapping by much, whom I have expunged courtesy of Photoshop.
