Bodiam Castle

Early morning trip to Bodiam Castle in East Susssex. I like the reflection of the castle :D

Both versions work well, but for me the colour version gives a better impression of the lovely early morning light you experienced.

The colour picture is straight from the camera without using HDR...

It looks like crossover light, where the exposure for the sky is similar to that for the rest of the image. So no need for HDR in those circumstances as the difference between the darkest and lightest points of the scene should fall confortably within the sensor's dynamic range.

The only reason I asked about HDR is that the colour toning, particularly on the nearest tower, look like what you get with some HDR presets.

Hi Keith, Images were not displaying when I looked two weeks ago, but they are back up, now that I am back from India.
Both versions look good.
